Intensive English Language Course (Cracow)

This is an intensive course designed to enhance your English proficiency, regardless of your current level (a minimum assessed A2 level is strongly recommended). This course aims to boost your confidence and fluency in both spoken and written English, providing a solid foundation for further language development.

The course focuses heavily on improving oral skills, which are often the most challenging for learners, as it's often the hardest to practice alone. The varied group setting offers a unique chance to advance oral comprehension and expression in a lively and supportive atmosphere. Writing skills are another key component, with students receiving tips to improve their writing using real-world materials like newspapers and magazines. Additionally, cultural elements will be integrated into the learning experience, making the course not only educational but also culturally enriching.

  • To take part in lively discussions, identifying strong arguments for and against various viewpoints.

  • Listening Skills:

  • To comprehend standard spoken language on both familiar and unfamiliar topics.

  • To understand recordings in standard dialects encountered in social, professional, or academic contexts, identifying speaker viewpoints, attitudes, and content.

  • Reading Skills:

  • To read independently with a high degree of adaptability in style and speed, suitable to different texts and purposes, and to use appropriate reference sources selectively.

  • To scan long and complex texts quickly to locate relevant details.

  • To summarize the plot and sequence of events in a text or film.

  • Writing Skills:

  • To write independently with adaptability in style and speed, appropriate for different texts and purposes, and to use reference sources selectively.

  • To summarize the plot and sequence of events in a film or play.

  • Lectures and presentations, exercises, discussions, teamwork, group work, role-playing, study visits , interactive activities

It includes:

  • 25 hours of classes spread over 5 course days,
