In today’s globalized world, the ability to communicate and collaborate across cultures is more important than ever. This course is designed to help educators, trainers, and administrative staff develop essential intercultural skills, enabling them to interact effectively with colleagues, students, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

This five-day course will equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate cultural differences in both professional and personal settings. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and practical exercises, participants will enhance their ability to work in multicultural environments, fostering more inclusive and productive relationships.

Learning objectives:

  • Enhance intercultural communication skills for effective interaction with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Develop the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts, both in professional and personal environments.

  • Promote key intercultural values such as tolerance, pluralism, and openness.

  • Equip participants with strategies to address and manage cultural differences and challenges in the workplace.

  • Foster the ability to create a personal development plan that integrates intercultural competencies.

  • Understand the culture adaptation process and apply it to improve interactions in a multicultural setting.

Methods and tools:

  • Interactive Lectures: Presentations and discussions on key concepts of intercultural communication and cultural differences.

  • Group Activities and Role-Playing: Engaging participants in scenarios that simulate real-life intercultural interactions to practice communication strategies.

  • Case Studies: Analysis of real-world examples to understand challenges and solutions in intercultural settings.

  • Reflective Exercises: Encouraging participants to reflect on their own cultural biases and how they impact their communication.

  • Cultural Exchange Sessions: Facilitated discussions where participants share their cultural experiences and perspectives.
