English for Beginners (A1 and A2 Levels)

The course is designed for adults looking to enhance their English language skills at the A1/A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This course is ideal for individuals seeking to improve their reading, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills, while also building the confidence necessary to thrive in a multinational environment.

This course focuses on developing essential language competencies through various learning methods. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of English in a cultural context, helping them navigate the complexities of communication in an international setting.

​The course employs a variety of teaching methods, including interactive workshops, language games, group work, and exercises using authentic materials (e.g., videos, songs). Participants will also work on an extended project, which will be presented on the final day of the course.

Assessment of participants' progress will be based on their active participation in class, involvement in group tasks, and the final presentation. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Learning objectives:

  • Acquire foundational skills in reading, grammar, vocabulary, and listening (B1 level).

  • Build confidence in speaking English across different contexts.

  • Master the use of present and past tenses with accuracy.

  • Enhance listening abilities by engaging with authentic English materials, such as videos, songs, and real-life dialogues.

  • Expand vocabulary to include common phrases and expressions used in everyday situations.

  • Learn to utilize ICT tools, software, and apps to support language learning and personal development.

  • Develop intercultural competence by understanding the cultural subtleties of English-speaking countries.

  • Improve communication skills in a multinational environment.

  • Engage in collaborative tasks that promote teamwork and enhance problem-solving abilities.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations in English, boosting public speaking skills.

  • Receive personalized feedback and guidance for continuous language improvement.
