Mindfulness and Well-being


Too often, life just races by. You do not fully experience what is happening now, because you are too busy thinking about what needs doing tomorrow or distracted by what happened yesterday. All the time your mind is chattering with commentary or judgement 


Mindfulness allows you to experience the moment instead of just rushing through. 

Being mindful opens you to new ideas and new ways of doing things, reducing stress and increasing your enjoyment of life. 

The fusion of yoga and mindfulness is a perfect balance of body and mind. Yoga stretches the body and soul. Both involve focusing the mind in present moment. The concentration on breath as an initiation of outward movement is integral to both philosophies.

Through this course participants will:

  • Adopt more positive ways of thinking and behaving 

  • Become calmer and more confident 

  • Break free from unhelpful thoughts and thinking patterns 

  • Bring about positive changes in your relationships 

  • Achieve a new level of self- awareness and understanding 

Methods and tools:

  • Lectures and presentations, exercises, discussions, teamwork, group work, role-playing, study visits , interactive activities, breathing exercises, yoga practice 

It includes:

  • 20/40 hours of classes spread over 5/10 course days,

  • Learning Materials,

  • Optional Cultural Activities and Visits,

  • Participants’ Evaluation Feedback,

  •  Certificate of Attendance and Europass mobility
